Sadig Akhundov is an Executive Director at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, with extensive experience in technology, digital transformation, and innovation within the financial sector.

His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, data and analytics, digital financial services, enterprise architecture, and IT governance. He has been actively involved in major initiatives aimed at advancing Azerbaijan’s digital financial ecosystem and strengthening the technological capabilities of the financial sector.

Alongside his executive role, Sadig is engaged in academic and educational activities, teaching subjects including programming, algorithms, high-performance computing for AI and machine learning, and data analytics.
