As a General Manager of the Payment System Department at the National Bank of Serbia, I am responsible for payment system operations — six payment systems, including the instant payment system, and the national card scheme DinaCard — as well as payment system regulation, oversight, and the licensing and supervision of payment service providers and virtual asset service providers.
I have spent two decades at the National Bank of Serbia, taking several roles in payment system oversight and regulation to Deputy General Manager before I was appointed to current position in 2023.
I have been designated to coordinate Republic of Serbia's activities toward accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and I am also involved in EU accession negotiations covering Chapters 4 (Free Movement of Capital) and 9 (Financial Services).
