About this session
Heading into 2027, financial institutions face a real choice: batten down the hatches, or make big bets on growth. Turbulent conditions are pushing some toward caution, and others toward expansion into new markets, new licences, new asset classes.
Banking and fintech leaders debate where they're placing their bets for the year ahead - portfolio strategy, moves into DeFi, the profitability case for growing the core banking business - and make the case for why growth, not caution, is the right call in a turbulent market. -
